The arrival

Four steps, then rest.

From the moment you land in India to the moment you sit with your physician — held by the team, every step.

01

Fly into Mumbai or Pune

Mumbai (BOM) is the cleanest international entry. Pune (PNQ) works for shorter onward driving.

02

Pre-arranged transfer

The reservations team books a quiet private car. We meet you at the gate; you don't manage the logistics.

03

Arrive at the estate

The 140-minute drive becomes part of the rhythm. By the time you reach the lake, the body is already softening.

04

Consultation begins

Day one is a doctor consultation, not a treatment. The programme is shaped around the body in front of them.

Plan around the programme

The programme shapes the trip.

Your travel plan changes with the programme you've chosen. A 21-night Panchakarma asks for one shape; a 5-night reset asks for another.

Short culinary stays

3–5 nights. Plan to land mid-morning and ease in. Family-friendly cabin classes help.

Panchakarma intensive

14–21 nights. Build in a buffer day on either side; the body needs lead-in and quiet wind-down.

Long-stay programmes

21+ nights. Consider business or premium economy on the long-haul; visa duration and prescriptions matter.

International guests

Allow extra time for jet lag, visa, currency, SIM and physician handover from your doctor at home.

Family & companions

If a partner or family member travels with you, the team will help with their accommodation and meals.

Returning guests

If this is your second or third visit, our team can pre-fill the assessment with your prior history.

Before you arrive

Six small things, then rest.

  • Confirm your programme and datesThe reservations team locks in your physician, room and treatment schedule.
  • Share health details if requiredA short pre-arrival form helps the physician design day one before you land.
  • Plan an arrival timeMumbai (BOM) between 06:00 and 14:00 is the calmest. We'll align the transfer.
  • Pack comfortable clothingSoft layers, sandals, a light shawl. The estate is warm; the body wants to be unrestricted.
  • Prepare for rest and routineNo screens after dinner. The first three days are the hardest, then the rhythm holds.
  • Speak with our team about transfersIf you'd prefer a Pune connection, a longer car, or a buffer night in Mumbai, just say the word.

Most asked, quietly answered

Most asked, quickly answered.

Which airport should I use?

Mumbai International (BOM) is the cleanest international gateway — most non-stops from Europe, the Gulf, North America and Asia land there. From Mumbai, the drive to Fazlani Nature's Nest is around 140 minutes. Pune (PNQ) is closer to the retreat (~50 km) but usually means an extra domestic hop after a long-haul, so most international guests prefer Mumbai direct.

How far is Fazlani Nature's Nest from Mumbai?

Around 95 km — roughly 140 minutes by private car via the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. The estate sits in the Sahyadri foothills near Lonavala, on a 68-acre lakeside property in Maharashtra. Our reservations team books a quiet driver-led transfer included with most programmes.

How far is Fazlani from Pune?

About 50–55 km — roughly 55 minutes by car. Pune airport works well for domestic guests or anyone connecting through a Gulf or European hub on a quieter onward drive. The same private transfer service applies.

Should I arrive a day before my programme begins?

For long-haul guests (USA, UK, Europe, Australia), yes — a buffer day in Mumbai or arriving the morning before lets the body settle before consultation. For short-haul guests (UAE, Bahrain, Saudi, India), same-day arrival usually works. Your country guide gives the specific recommendation; our team confirms it against your flight and your programme.

What documents do international guests need?

A valid Indian e-Visa (or visa-on-arrival depending on nationality), travel insurance covering your stay, current prescriptions in original packaging, and any recent medical reports relevant to what you're working on. We send a pre-arrival checklist 14 days before you fly so nothing is left for the airport.

What if my flight is delayed and I miss my arrival window?

Tell us as soon as you know. The reservations team holds your transfer car and reschedules your consultation slot — the medical team builds slack into the first day for exactly this. If you arrive overnight, you'll be welcomed quietly to your room and consultation moves to the next morning. Your programme doesn't lose a day.

I'm on prescription medication — how does the team handle that?

Bring everything in original packaging with the prescription. Our doctors review it on consultation day before any new protocol is started, so there's no clash between what you're already on and what we prescribe. If a treatment needs adjustment around your medication (or vice versa), the team makes that call in conversation with your doctor at home — never around them.
